Nerello Mascalese

The grapes from the vines are harvested in late September and after being aged for 9 months in handmade French oak barrels, the finished wine is as dark and rich as the volcanic soil it comes from. The wine carries notes of cherry and almond, and along with acidity and high tannins, these flavours only taste better as the wine ages
